Photographers

Hello :)

So it’s a while since I've last posted an entry on my blog, but that was because I had so much exams on my shoulders ( I know- I should’ve waited to start my blog until I finished my exams, but I couldn't wait. ) and so I had to pause for a while.
Exams weren't the only reason; it was also because I had nothing to blog about and I haven’t done anything interesting yet, but I can assure you that during the summer there will be a lot more posts.
I'm talking too much.
In this post I wanted to talk about my favourite photographers. Photography was something that I had been into since I was around 12? It was all thanks to a girl [Renee- check out her blog!] who was a geek on photography. After that, I was hooked, and I may be crazier about photography then I expected...

I'm just gonna start now.

1. Alfred Eisenstaedt

My favourite types of pictures are black and whites. I don’t know what it is about them, but they hold such meaning to it. They create a story even though the pictures could look so simple. And simplicity is always the best policy for me. Alfred Eisenstaedt was such a simple person who took simple pictures. Looking at it once may make it meaningless but when you look closely you can create a story just from that picture. You know how they say ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’? Alfred Eisenstaedt’s photography is like that. Worth more than a thousand words.

2. Keegan Allen

Yeah that’s the guy from pretty little liars. And he is an awesome photographer.

So by looking at the pictures you can tell that he is an amazing photography- honestly you check out his Instagram. There’s something about his pictures that just look ‘fresh’ and ‘clean’. I mean he could even take a picture of dirt, and it would look clean. To be honest, I don’t know how, but what I do know is that he seems to have an open mind and enjoys photography. And you should see the camera he uses; Leica M system Digital Film. It’s breath taking.

3. Chuck Grant

Her photography is eccentric, I can’t even talk about it.

Basically, I'm a fan of Lana Del Rey, and when I found out that she had a sister and that her sister was into photography, I had to check it out. And honestly, I think her photography is very different. I mean you may not see it from the first look but when I look at the pictures I think ‘eccentric, different, simple yet bold’ I don’t really know how to explain. And also the captions that she puts for the pictures are... different. I just don't know how to explain it but do check out her website and Instagram.

So that was it. I'm still digging for more photographers to get inspiration from, but so far it has to be these three. I hope that I can share my photography with you  as well but first I gotta work on getting a good camera.
I can tell this was long, but if you finished reading it, then you’re a star.

Stay Blessed,

Leslie x
