London n°2

Hello Readers,
Today I wanted to talk about a little photograph I took in London, near Regents Street on Monday. It turned out to be my favourite picture of the day, and that was partly because it was the only picture I took the whole day.

On Monday, I set myself a little challenge, and decided to go out to London with a camera and have a little bit of an adventure. I was truly set and excited for the journey and I got everything prepared. In addition, it was important for me to take some photograph for my photography coursework, so I had to go.

So, I'm gonna skip over to the end. The minute I got off the bus, I became super anxious and I started to over-think about a lot of things. I thought about my appearance and the fact that I was alone taking photos might look awkward to some people, little things like that. Of course these thoughts are ridiculous, but as I got on several buses, and got off at random places,  I started to feel even more uncomfortable. Towards the end of the day, I took my last bus to go home, and then decided to get over it, and at least take one picture. And I did. It turned out to be this lovely black and white photo.

And this happens to be one of my favourites because of the simplicity and elegance the house has- cream walls, and black detailed balcony, it reminded me of cute french houses. I just thought it was classic.
 And then I went home.

This is more of a lesson to me, than to you . Independence is key. If I want to be able to explore and be adventurous, I've got to be able to feel confident enough to go out on my own, and enjoy myself- regardless of what my brain tells me other people might think.
So, I might have another go at this trip at the end of the week, just to prove to myself that I can be independent.

I hope you may have gotten something out of this.
Stay blessed,
- Leslie x
